The First Night

Pictures from the first night. Sarah S, Ina, Becki, Kati and Kim all came over to meet the professor his first night here. He is very playful and loves people. He had never seen stairs before so we had to teach him how to go up and down them but he seems to have mastered that skill very quickly. At the end of the night we fell asleep together on the couch. He only whined at little bit in his crate during the night but he managed to throw up twice and pee in his bed. Today he has managed to poop outside three times with no accidents although the peeing is another issue. We spent 2 hours at the dog park where the Professor met about 30 different dogs and relentlessly humped a basset hound named Bruce. He has made many friends today and I was a joy to see him having so much fun. He still strongly dislikes the car probably because he threw up in it twice on the way home from the shelter but he is learning. We will certainly become regular patrons of the dog park.
